a new technique for layering stencils

I already LOVE stencils – including layering stencils. But, now I have another reason to love this “cheap & cheerful”, storage efficient, multi-use tool!

Pairing layering stencils with a gel press can be an exhilirating experience. It requires you to think just a little bit about how the layers will stack up, and then, experiment with color combos to see how it turns out!

Adding intermediate layers, like gloss sprays, can give the stencil extra depth and dimension without much effort. I just love how this turned out with an interesting vintage look.
