Altenew Build-A-Flower: Clover Release

It’s the first of the month, and that means it’s time for a new Build-a-Flower and a giveaway blog hop! You should be arriving from Kelly Griglione’s blog. If not, you can track back to the Altenew Card Blog to start at the beginning, or continue around until you loop back here.

welcome, clover!

This month’s Build-a-Flower is clover. I  know, I know, so many of us spend so much time trying to get it out of our lawns, but, you have to admit, it’s a pretty flower! Hey, and those sentiments are great too, right?!

There’s three ways to get this stamp & die set!

I really enjoy that the Build-a-Flower series is so versatile! Sometimes there’s an outline stamp you can use on its own. Or, you can choose to omit various layers for different looks. Sometimes, I even explore different ways to use the stamps, like today’s faux watercolor look.

    • Gorgeous faux watercolor look on this clover card, Nicole! Between the colors, stamp layers chosen, and varied intensities, it adds so many extra “layers” and dimension on the base itself– truly lovely!

  6. Thank you for this outstanding video! You’re so good at explaining why you use which stamp in which place, also how to choose between the various colors. I’ve been looking for a good “sequence” of pinks, and I think you’ve found it for me.
