Fall Leaf Print with GooseBumps and Memento

I have a fun fall project for you today! Even though my project is a card, this is a great idea for scrapbook pages and journals too! I’m experimenting with a cool product from Imagine Crafts – GooseBumps liquid medium!

what in the goosebumps?

The Imagine Crafts website says that GooseBumps is a water-based, odorless texture spray that provides dimension and texture to any paper-crafting or mixed-media project. I find that it doesn’t leave so much texture, but what it does do is resist – really really well. It was the perfect medium for this idea I had to use a leaf to make a print with some ink blending.

GooseBumps and Memento inks are a match made for each other. In this case, I used the liquid straight from the bottle with a paint brush onto a leaf from the yard. Then, I pressed the leaf onto a piece of 80lb Accent Opaque cardstock and used a brayer to make sure that it had good contact with the paper. Then, you just lift off the leaf and wait for the panel to dry. It only takes a minute or two.

After that, it’s just regular ink blending. If you’ve never tried blending with Memento, you’ll be in for a great surprise! It blends fantastically – even with just a small finger dauber.
