aah, those summer nights!

This month’s release is themed “Summer Nights”. It is an eclectic mix of everything from camping to constellations, and of course, florals! The bonus accessories are waxes and wax seals so you can seal your envelopes in style, or use the seals on your projects!

hello, beautiful!

My first project features the #1 stamp set on my must have list from this release. It’s called Beauty Within, and let me tell you, there’s beauty on the outside too! LOL! As you may know, my favorite Altenew set is Beautiful Day. This set is very similar and will pair perfectly with that set, and it’s companion, Remember This.

I wanted to show off the beautiful lines in the stamp, so I just used a few colored pencils to add in hints of color. I paired the arrangement with the new Nesting Ovals. This is actually the negative leftovers from the ovals, stacked on top of each other, with the Marsh Land washi in the background. See that wax seal? That’s the Blooming Bud stamp in Enchanted Gold from the Wax Sticks collection. Be on the lookout for this and another style in my other projects!

with deepest sympathy

Sympathy cards are a necessity in anyone’s card stash. For as reluctant as we are to have them on hand, it’s always the one we need when we are least prepared. I was happy to see a sympathy sentiments stamp set in this release. It’s called With Deepest Sympathy. There are good quotes in the set that are appropriate for both inner and outer greetings – making it easy to say something without having to come up with our own words.

I went quick and simple for this project using a full washi background (Botanical Rhapsody is a perfect fit!) and a simple embossed sentiment. This card can be made in under 5 minutes, but is still striking enough to carry the feeling and emotion it needs to.

share and inspire someone today!

make it!

Let’s take a few minutes to make this sympathy card together. You’ll be glad to have this one in your stash, and can make them on-demand when you need another in the future.

5-minute Quick and Simple Sympathy Card

hello astro!

I love astrology (yes, I do read my weekly horoscope) and have long been eyeing up the Zodiac constellation dies from Altenew. The Splatter Constellations stamp and die set is a perfect alternative, with all of the zodiac represented in both the stamp set and the dies. The splatter look is fun and causal. Group a whole bunch together to make a night sky, or call out a single constellation to recognize the recipient. You choose!

There’s another wax seal in these pics. See it? This is the Just Hello stamp paired with the Sapphire Wax Seal Beads and Wax Melting Spoon.

Thank You!

Time is precious and I’m truly grateful that you chose to spend a few minutes of your day here!
