It’s time for another Sketch Starter! Are you ready? 

As you might know, as a Design Team Member for Altenew, I create monthly inspiration projects that feature two distinctly different projects using the same sketch. trees + washi

The first simple result from this simple sketch will truly just take a minute or two! I used the Birch Forest background stamp in Arctic Mountain and added two strips of washi tape from the Sweet Dreams collection, and then heat embossed the sentiment in white. 1, 2, 3. Done!

For the second take, I did a bit of a step up since I added some dimension to the design. I stamped the Dots & Boxes stamp set twice – once in Arctic Mountain, and the second time in Icy Water – on Winter Clouds cardstock. Then, I chopped out a strip, which would get filled in with some washi from the Enjoy The Ride collection. I popped up the sentiment and the boxes pieces to add some extra dimension. It’s not much more difficult, but adds a bit more interest since there are various levels to the layout.
