light up your designs

I wanted to highlight one of the sponsors from today’s hop, so I pulled out one of my EZ-Light kits from Pear Blossom Press to create a simple (and surprising), interactive card!

At present, I don’t have any “cutesy” stamp sets where you’d think that a light would be the perfect interactive accessory. So, I’ve been getting creative with how I use these fun kits. The flower from the Folk Hummingbird set was just the right stamp since the large flower has three stamen where the lights worked out perfect!

a super quick how-to

How about a quickie video? I skipped to the good part on this one and show you just how easy it is to use EZ-Lights!

  7. I am a fan and blog follower! Love this card! I need to get some of these lights, but I mainly stamp to send cards of encouragement, hope, get well, etc for church cards and family cards. I don’t have cutesy stamps either because my children are grown, our family is small and I have no grandchildren. Loved how you used these lights and I’m thinking I need to get some for my own family’s birthday cards or perhaps my Christmas cards. Gorgeous!

  11. I love how you said “Strap in hoppers” lol!! I have to say it is one of the longest blog hops I’ve attempted to finish! But I think it’s a great way to find some new designers that you are not used to seeing! I love your card! Ink blending is one of the things I really enjoy doing! I have never however tried to play with lights yet and probably won’t even though the look really cool! I’m a clean and simple gal!
