Once you tackle some basic techniques with waxes, it’s time to figure out what more you can do with them! For this project, I explored adding accents to watercolored panels, as well as creating solid panels of mixed metals, then diecutting them. I can’t be more excited with how these turned out!

2-for-1? yes please!

Though there is some time involved with all of the steps of the first design, it’s totally worth it because there is an overload of texture on this one-of-a-kind card! Plus, I was careful to diecut the ornament from the center of the watercolor panel so I could get a 2-for-1 and create a shaker card with the leftovers!

For a more delicate and refined look, try using tulle instead of window sheet for your shaker! I went even further by adding the ornament details on the tulle. Be sure to watch the replay to catch the extra tips for making those details work perfectly with tulle.
