Creating shadows with your stencils is a beautiful look, but if you’re looking for something more bold, try this technique where we pair the idea of stencil shadowing with heat foiling! Oh, and if you don’t have what you need to hot foil, you can do this same technique with embossing ink and embossing powder!

You don’t need much to achieve great results. In fact, you don’t need anything special! Of course, if you need to do some shopping, I always have supplies linked below and at the end of the post. steps to shadow stencil with foil
- Apply stenciled image to cardstock as desired.
- Slightly offset stencil and apply Deco Foil Transfer Gel.
- Allow transfer gel to dry completely clear.
- Apply Foil Transfer Sheet to panel, place in a parchment paper sandwich and run through laminator / Minc machine.
- If desired, blend additional ink over image to soften lines, or use ink spray to create a more loose look.
