sweet & fabulous

This month’s stamp & die release is truly sweet and fabulous, with a little something for everyone! There are sets for birthdays, Easter, geometrics, and of course, florals! PLUS, how about new 6×6 paper stacks and some 6-pack mini cube sets, just right for all your spring and summer projects!

call me, maybe?

Weeeellll… I’d rather you text! LOL! My first project features the new Sweet Nothings stamp set. A gorgeous floral with two large blooms a few leaves and great, modern sentiments like this one! All the cards I’m sharing today feature the Summer Sherbet ink cube set. They’re all the lightest shades from various other 4-cube sets brought together to create the perfect assortment for light and bright projects.

My second card is another 5-minute, one-layer card.

orange generosity

This third card shows of a truly unique stamp set. It’s called All Things Orange, and it features an orange tree branch, a sphere that can be an orange or a sun, mountains, birds, clouds and a host of amazing and unusual quotes and sentiments. I was really drawn to the variety of what I can create with this set. I paired it with the Window Sphere standalone die. It seemed to me that the two were made for each other!

share and inspire someone today!

hello,  wildflowers

For my last project, I went crazy making a whole bunch of the little stems from the Wildflower Doodles stamp set. Some were stamped right on the cardstock and then diecut with the Nesting Frames die from last month. Others were diecut as individual stems and popped up with foam adhesive squares. I added the hello sentiment from Hello & Hugs and then added the whole arrangement to some Woodgrain Powder cardstock.

Quick Makes

Before we take a look at my last two projects, how about I share how easy it was to make the first two? They’re both one-layer cards that only take about 5 minutes to whip up!

  1. Thank you for reminding us that we can often use our stamps two ways! Your cards are lovely and I love seeing single layer cards for both their simplicity and lovely “quickness”!

    • I love all the cars that you made but your text me anytime and hello cards are my two favorite. I love the layouts and the colors chosen. We all need to reminder that someone is there for us especially in this time.

  8. Thanks for the inspiration & the great video as well. Seeing something done makes it clearer to me than reading about it. I think the quote on the Everything Orange card is so very true. Sometimes it’s hard to know how to ease someone’s grief. I have one friend whose DH passed on Sunday after a two year battle with cancer & another friend whose DH is in Hospice with bone cancer & will not live much longer. Fortunately this couple have great faith which is a comfort in itself. While death is a part of life, none of us are ever ready for it.

  9. Great cards and a really helpful video! Who could ask for more? Like the idea of “coloring” the flower using the back of the stamp. Like the flowers and the sentiments of that stamp set but I’m not very good at coloring so wasn’t sure if I should get it. It’s now on my list thanks to your great technique. Thanks for all the great inspiration!
