The crafting world is becoming more versatile and customized by the minute! There is something for everyone, and an easy way to achieve your desired results with all the amazing tools and supplies. I love that you can get a bundle if you want it all, or you can pick and choose the pieces you prefer to use. Don’t want the foil plate, you don’t need to get it? Prefer to leave off the coloring stencils – you can do that too! Want it all, get the bundle at a discount! Crafting should be on your terms, so you can create what’s in your heart!

One of my biggest tips about using foil (or any metallic) in a project is to not go crazy with it! As an example, this project has just the smallest amount of foil using the new Chevron Background hot foil plate. I foiled in pewter on watercolor cardstock, then created a gorgous drippy look all over the panel. But, in the end, I just wanted a tasteful accent to showcase the Itty Bitty Branches diecuts, so I cut a small square from the panel as a popped up platform for the floral dies. I was thrilled to (for once) achieve a Clean & Simple look!

spotlighting & whitewashing
For my second look, I wanted to fill the page with the Vibrant Florals hot foil plate. I also thought it would be fun to just spotlight the blooms, leaving the leaves plain. So I pulled out a recent gel print and went to town. To help the flowers really stand out, I added some gouache whitewashing to the petals.
