all wired
This month’s release is an assortment of stamps, stencils and new Paper Glazes. I decided to focus on the three new Building Background stamps. They’re so fun and have a little secret – you can build any size background with them as you can keep stamping the square image next to itself (up, down, left, or right) to keep extending the image.
The first new Building Background is called All Wired. It’s a collection of modern USB charging cables – so cute and unique!! I paired the set with a sentiment from Tightening Her Bra Strap.
The image was stamped in black and heat embossed in clear, then I did some resist watercoloring – integral to keeping those white cables white!

sweater pattern maker
I kept on with the emboss and watercolor theme as I moved into the Sweater Pattern Maker stamp. I thought I would go for a fun combination of greens for a fresh take on the holidays. Then, I stamped the Season’s Greetings from the new Fancy Christmas Sentiments stamp set onto some coordinating green cardstock and fussy cut instead of making a more simple sentiment strip.

chase me
It should come as no surprise that I did some more emboss and watercolor for the final project – this time featuring the new Chase Me Building Background. This cacophony of butterflies is just stunning, and there are so many ways you could create a background to coordinate with these – perhaps a rainbow blend, or a random mottled sky effect like the one I created here.
I borrowed the sentiment from the new Dragon Fruit stamp set, again, fussy cutting for a different look, and pairing with with a simple strip and a few sequins.
