twinkle & shine

So, what extras might you find today? How about more 3D embossing folders, fineliner pens AND, stickers for your mini ink cubes so you’ll never mix up the bottom from the lid again!

pen sketched, but silhouettes

If you are a fan of Pen Sketched Flowers, then you’re going to love these silhouettes! Pen Sketched Silhouettes are the mirror image of their older sibling and feature the same fonts in the sentiments. That means that they’re destined to pair well together! I took them out for a spin creating the first of four black & white designs with a pop of color behind the sentiment. How perfect in their simplicity!

words + letters

I was drawn to the Eucalyptus Jar stamp set first for all its unique sentiments and sentiment layouts. Circles, label style, big chunky blocks, super thin strips…It really has a great assortment! Paired with the simplicity of the line drawn jar with eucalyptus fronds, and it’s easy to put a one-layer project together super fast. I opted to heat emboss both the imagery and sentiment, then did some quick coloring with the Metallic Watercolor pan set. Super. Simple. Sparkly. Sweet!

geo 3D mix & match

For this third project, I did a little mix & match from the release. First, I wanted to showcase the new Geo Step 3D embossing folder. It’s difficult to photograph, but the impression from the folder is so deep! The center diamonds are actually beveled so they’re deeper on one side than the other. I embossed the black layer so I could do a kind of spotlight technique, matching up the pattern from the folder.

I paired that beautifully textured background with a frond from Pen Sketched Silhouettes, and a sentiment from Better Together 2.

cartoon rose wallpaper

The line-drawn look of Cartoon Rose is just stunning! There’s also layering elements, but you can easily do without to create a beautiful look like this one! I heat embossed the images in white, then watercolored metallic silver in all the spaces. I grabbed a label sentiment from Eucalyptus Jar to finish off the otherwise one-layer design.

  1. Hi, there –
Nicole, you are SO talented. I love the neutral colors and then a pop of color in a tag or the edge of a frame or wherever. Thanks for showcasing so many of the elements of the release!
