Sparkly Saturated Bknd with Happy Hearts – Live Stream Replay

I notice that I spend a lot of time creating cool background panels. I guess I’m just that kind of crafter… how about you? Did you happen to pop in during the live stream? I’m live every Thursday at 4pm US Central time. If you can’t join me live, you should definitely check out the replay! (Psst! It’s at the end of this post!) We had some fun with ink sprays to create a unique blended look!

saturated ink spray panels

This is a wonderful technique that will get you using your ink sprays! There’s really no right or wrong and you can use any color or spray combo to create any number of dramatic, or in this case, soft looks. The inks always end up saturating the paper, and if you add a layer of shimmer over the whole thing, then you’ve got a whole lot of WOW that only needs something like a cover die to finish it off!

I doubled up the cover die for a thicker base, that way I could fill in a few hearts with some On Point glue for an easy accent behind the sentiment. Of course, flooding in an area like this means you need to let it dry for a few hours – so don’t be in a rush! Wait for it to dry, then add your sentiment and other embellishments.
