Glitter paper is a wonderful invention that keeps the shimmery mess to a minimum. But, other than die-cutting and layering, it’s not often used. What if you could emboss on it? Would that open some new, creative doors – you bet it would!

You don’t need much to achieve great results. In fact, you don’t need anything special! Of course, if you need to do some shopping, I always have supplies linked below and at the end of the post. steps to heat emboss on glitter paper

1. Add a generous layer of anti-static powder to glitter paper.
2. Stamp image as usual with embossing ink.
3. Add embossing powder.
4. Heat with heat tool, using the low setting if present. Or, move tool around to keep the paper from getting to hot and buckling.
5. If paper is ultra-thin and prone to rolling, adhere to a heat-resistant mat with some masking tape first to keep the panel as flat as possible.
