Are you ready for another great project idea for your personal card stash? Each week, I’m live on YouTube for Running With Scissors. I love live stream crafting because you get to see how it really is! Mistakes, unplanned difficulties – all unfiltered! Every artist has their moments, and you’ll surely see some when you tune in! If you can’t join me live, you should definitely check out the replay! (Psst! It’s at the end of this post!)

scrapbusting foil leftovers
It’s been a long month with lots of foiling. And, I really hate to waste all that foil, so I just had to find a way to use it all up! But, I seriously didn’t want to foil all of my leftover toner foil pieces on black toner sheets. There just had to be another way!
I experimented with some special hot foil embossing powder, but it was a pain! I just wanted to transfer these images 100% onto another piece of cardstock, or a background from my stash, or som patterned paper.
And then I found the answer! Hot Melt Sheets! They work like a champ and create gorgeous, high-shine panels, using ANY background layer you can think of!
simple square setup
Once you have all of those foil leftovers melted onto backgrounds, now what? How about a simple square focal point? I find that the leftovers sheets can be really foil intense, making it best to use them sparingly so they don’t take over a design! Here, the scrap plays well with LOTS of whitespace!

fast foil floral
If you want something a little more flashy, how about a floral cover die? Once you have your foil hot melted onto a background panel, you can do anything you like! Just imagine the cool looks you can create now that you have all these foil panels at your fingertips!

Hi Penny! I don’t know why LinkDeli does that sometimes. When I click on the links, they go to the products. I wonder if it’s because of the browser you’re using? I’m using Chrome – how about you?
