Festive Friday: 5-Minute Striped Birthday Card

After a long week, it’s nice to make something simple and fun!

So, let’s do that! It’s time for another Festive Friday challenge and I thought I’d whip up a simple, fun card that can get your weekend off to a great start. Of course, having some inspiration to get going on a project is half the battle. Let’s take a look at the latest challenge, shall we?

Looking for ideas – here’s a few:

• Armed Services Day is a day to show appreciation to Active Duty members of the Armed Forces in the US. Use this as an opportunity to make some cards that you can send to a military hospital that can be given to any of the inpatients.
• Be inspired by typical military and patriotic imagery and colors – red, white, & blue, or blue & yellow or blue & white – even camouflage colors – greens & browns… Then, there’s stripes (go for the AND option of the challenge), stars, airplanes, ships, eagles… There’s lots of fun inspiration right there!
• Of course, you can embrace just the AND option and come up with a project that features stripes in a prominent way!
• CASE one of the DT projects and add your own twist to our designs. Of course, if you blog about it, we would love for you to mention the Designer as your inspiration for your project. Here’s links to all of the Designers:
