faux patina – so easy!
This faux patina is a MOST REQUESTED TECHNIQUE from my creative audience! The great thing – it can’t be simpler! New mediums are often scary, and people just aren’t sure what they “can and can’t” do with it. To that I say – just explore!
I like to say “The best ideas always start with ‘What if?'” So, grab your wax, or whatever medium you’re curious about and just start asking “What if?”! You never know where that will take you and what amazingness you might create!

start super simple
Now, if you’re really not feeling adventerous, start simple!
In the case of the Prima waxes, just start by using it as an accent, like I did for this project!
Oh, and let me share a little secret about this one. Though the embossing folder is named something different, it coordinates PERFECTLY with the Courageous You die. You just have to flip it over!
See, that was another “What if?” moment for me! I thought…. hmmm… those flowers look just like Courageous You. I wonder if the die will work with it? And it did!
